The world's largest museum has a new art exhibit to draw the masses. Last week, I. M. Pei's famous pyramid at the Louvre disappeared behind a series of black-and-white photos that perfectly align with the portion of the Louvre that the pyramid blocks. Et voila, bye bye pyramid! At least temporarily.
The exhibit was realized by French street artist JR, and will remain through June 27. Much better photos can be found online - I happened to visit on a particularly Parisian gray sky day.
