It's not every day you get to hear a US Supreme Court justice wax poetic. Especially not in Paris.
But that's exactly what happened earlier this week when US Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer spoke at the American University of Paris. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from a lecture by a constitutional lawyer discussing international law, but he honestly blew my expectations way out of the water. He spoke without notes switching between French and English for around 40 minutes about many of the pressing issues of our time. Inspiring!
